This Privacy Policy explains how Just Hail ("we," "us," "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you visit justhail.net, fill out our contact form, or communicate with us by phone, SMS, or email.

What we collect
When you submit our online contact form or communicate with us, we may collect:
- Your name (first and last)
- Phone number (for SMS and voice contact)
- Email address
- Vehicle make, model, year
- Address or general location of the vehicle
- Insurance carrier (if you choose to share it)
- Date and details of the hail event affecting your vehicle
- Photos of damage you upload to help us prepare an estimate
We also collect basic technical data automatically when you visit our website (browser type, IP address, pages viewed) for analytics via Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics.
How we use it
We use the information you provide solely to:
- Schedule and conduct your free hail damage inspection
- Prepare and deliver a written estimate
- Bill your insurance carrier directly (with your written authorization on the work order)
- Communicate updates about your vehicle while it's in our shop
- Follow up after the repair to confirm satisfaction and inform you of your lifetime workmanship warranty (transferable by VIN)
- Respond to questions you send us by phone, SMS, or email
SMS messaging
When you submit our contact form with the SMS consent checkbox enabled, you agree to receive transactional text messages from Just Hail at the phone number you provided. These messages are limited to:
- Confirmation that we received your inspection request
- Appointment scheduling and reminders
- Status updates while your vehicle is in our shop
- Repair-completion and pickup notifications
- Direct responses to questions you've sent us
You can opt out of SMS at any time by replying with any of the following keywords to any message we send: STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, QUIT, END, or UNSUB. We immediately remove you from all future SMS sends. You can opt back in by replying START, JOIN, or YES.

Message and data rates may apply per your wireless carrier's plan. Message frequency varies based on the status of your inspection or repair — typically 0–4 messages per repair cycle. Just Hail does not charge for SMS.
You can update your contact preferences or have us delete your information at any time by emailing info.justhail@gmail.com.
How we share information
We share your information only with:
- Your insurance carrier — when you authorize us in writing to bill them directly for the repair (standard practice for hail damage claims under Texas "act of nature" comp provisions).
- Service providers we use to operate our business — e.g., Resend for email delivery, Twilio for SMS delivery, Google Workspace for our internal records, QuickBooks for invoicing. These providers are contractually bound to use your data only to provide their service to us.
- Law enforcement or regulatory bodies — if required by valid legal process.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
How long we keep it
We retain customer records (estimates, work orders, photos, invoices) for at least seven (7) years to honor our lifetime workmanship warranty and meet IRS recordkeeping requirements. SMS opt-in records are kept for the duration of our customer relationship plus six (6) months after opt-out. You may request earlier deletion by emailing us, subject to our legal recordkeeping obligations.
Cookies and tracking
Our website uses minimal cookies for site functionality and analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 and Vercel Web Analytics to understand which pages visitors view; these tools record aggregated, anonymized data and do not personally identify you. We do not use advertising trackers, retargeting pixels, or third-party marketing cookies.
Children's privacy
Our services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, contact us and we will delete it.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- Request a copy of the personal information we have about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your information (subject to our legal recordkeeping obligations)
- Opt out of SMS messaging at any time (see SMS section above)
- Opt out of marketing emails (we don't send marketing emails, only transactional ones — but if that ever changes, every email will include an unsubscribe link)
